Xiaomi is again playing the thin design game with the Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro coming in at just 5.99mm at their thinnest point. The display on these TVs utilize Quantum Dot technology (possibly from Samsung again) and promises natural and pure colors with NTSC color gamut of 108%. It supports MMEC motion sense and HDR 10+.
Xiaomi Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro: Specifications
The Mi TV 5 lineup is powered by a 12nm 1.9GHz quad-core Cortex A55 T972 processor with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU at its core, which Xiaomi claims to be around 63 percent faster than its previous-gen processor. Out of the two variants, the Standard Mi TV 5 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, whereas the Pro model offers 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. As already mentioned, the TV 5 Pro features a Quantum Dot 4K QLED panel, which also adds support for HDR10 and MEMC. As for other specifications, the Mi TV 5 comes with 2 x 8w Stereo speakers, DTS audio, Dolby Audio, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, 3 x HDMI port, 2 x USB port, and 1 x Ethernet port. On the software side of things, both variants run on PatchWall OS and feature AIoT Smart Home center. Interestingly, the TVs come with in-built microphones with support for far-field speech voice commands.

The Mi TV 5 comes in three screen sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch and is priced at 2999 yuan, 3999 yuan, and 7999 yuan respectively. Similarly, the Mi TV 5 Pro also comes in the same screen sizes and is priced at 3699 yuan for the 55-inch, 4999 yuan for the 65-inch, and 9999 yuan for the 75-inch model.
