Sharp Aqups S3 Features
The Sharp Aquos S3 comes with a 5.8-inch IGZO IPS LCD display set at a resolution of 1440 x 2880. The display features a 2.5D curved glass and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Other features include the Eye Care Mode. Now the biggest change comes in the form of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 paired with 6GB of RAM as opposed to the 4GB on the earlier versions. On the storage front, the Aquos S3 now offers 128GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. The newer variant of the Sharp Aquos shares the 12MP+13MP dual camera units with the base variant. The dual lens camera unit also offers 2x lossless zoom. Selfie camera on the Aquos S3 is a 16-Megapixel sensor. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Quick Charge 3.0 and dual SIM support. On the software front, the device runs Sharp’s Smile UX which is based on Android 8.0. Surprisingly the Snapdragon 660 variant is a shade heavier than the one with 630. The Sharp Aquos S3 will go on sale starting from June 11 and will be priced at $470. Connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and also supports wireless charging.
