The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 inherits design and build from its siblings as it flaunts the usual aluminum clamshell aesthetic. However, the corners are now a bit more curved. There’s a 5.5-inch HD display up front which is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass (variant not revealed yet). It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage which is expandable and a 3080mAh non-removable battery....

The Xiaomi Mi A1 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the phone offers 64GB of internal storage along with an expandable microSD card slot. As mentioned earlier the Mi A1 runs on Android One and it’s still not clear if one would be able to flash it with a MIUI ROM....
